What is the Lil Nipper Electric Nail Clipper?
Lil Nipper is our revolutionary automatic fingernail clipper that makes nail trimming a breeze for people of all ages and abilities.
There is a safety slot where you insert your nail. Behind the slot is a blade that goes up and down, automatically, and swifts by your nail to remove just a sliver at a time. It is precise and gentle. Your skin is protected and there isn't an abrupt "snap" or "clip".
With its palm-fitting design, soft grip sides, bright LED light, and patented safety technology, you can trim your nails independently and without worrying about injury.

How do I use the Lil Nipper?
- Press the on/off button.
- Insert nail tip into nail-slot
- Pivot for a nice rounded trim
- Slide the bottom panel to dispose of the clippings.
- That’s it! You nailed it.
Why are there different color clippers?
The Lil Nipper is available in Adult, Child, and Infant sizes making it the perfect solution for trimming nails from infants to kids, and young adults to seniors! Blue is for 13 years and older. Green is for children 5 - 13 years old and Purple is for infants and toddlers 3 months - 5 years old.
How short does the Lil Nipper clip my nails?
Your desired nail length is determined by two things:
- how little or how much of your nail you insert into the nail slot and
- how many times you repeat on a specific nail. There is a stopper behind the blade so you can only insert so far.
How do I know what model to buy for my child?
If you’re questioning between two models, we recommend getting the one for the smaller nails. Most people can still use the smaller sized nail-slot past the age designations.
Will I need to file my nails afterwards?
No. The nail clipper makes a smooth cut. Your nails will have a soft edge after trimming. Sometimes it can take a couple tries to get the feel of it, but once you do, you won’t go back.
Do these trimmers work for toenails?
The Lil Nippers were developed for fingernails and works the best for fingernails however, if you can get your nail into the safety slot, it will trim it. Children have found these clippers to work well on their toenails.
What happens to the nails?
Trimmed nails drop into a hidden compartment to be discarded later. No mess! Just slide the bottom tray to dispose.
I like to have short nails, will the clipper still work?
Yes! You have full control of how much nail is trimmed by how much nail is inserted into the nail-slot. For shorter nails, tip your finger allowing more nail into the slot.
Do these clip or grind the nail?
Neither! These Lil Nipper devices introduce an entirely NEW way to maintain your nail by using a surgical-grade stainless steel blade that precisely trims slivers of your nails. Feel confident that the safety plate protects any skin from contacting the blades so just your nails get trimmed. Always!
Is this clipper loud?
The device creates a higher “hum hum” noise and this was intentional so you can hear it working. We found the noise is important element to the operation and effectiveness.
Are these nail clippers waterproof?
No! We do not recommend exposing the clipper to water.
How do you charge Lil Nipper devices?
Plug into any USB cord: computer, wall, car, airplane … you get the idea
How do I clean my Lil Nipper?
Simply wipe down with a warm washcloth and gentle soap or alcohol wipe.
My device has a blinking light, why?
The blinking light is a low battery indicator. While charging, your Lil Nipper is fully charged when the blinking light stops.
What's your return policy?
We stand by the quality of all our products. That’s why we offer a 6-month trial for you to experience the clipper. If you’re not satisfied with the results, just send it back within 6-months for a full refund of the device (shipping included).
International Returns
