The clippers are nice, I was able to feel where you put your nail into. It seems like the Clippers just clip in the middle and you have to move your finger back-and-forth, the one thing that I'm confused that is underneath to empty the clippings I'm not sure whether Weather just sliding net ribbed area forward or backwards doesn't open anything? And which way do you have to push it to empty the clippings doesn't door open up, does it just come out a small hole, I'm a little unsure about that and there's really nothing to explain that. Otherwise it Otherwise it does a nice job clipping the nail once you figure it out.

No good for your toenail

Lil Nipper is designed for fingernails, but if your nail fits into the safety slot, it will trim it. Many kids and those with standard thickness of nails use it successfully on their toenails. The slot sizes are: Infant (0.015'), Child (0.035'), and Adult (0.055') — roughly the width of 3 sheets of printer paper, 1 credit card, and 2 credit cards stacked.
Not sure if your nail will fit? If you need more room than the width of two credit cards, this device will not work for the thicker nails.

How short does the Lil Nipper clip my nails?

Your desired nail length is determined by how little or how much of your nail you insert into the nail-slot.

How do I know what model to buy for my child?

If you’re questioning between two models, we recommend getting the one for the smaller nails. Most people can still use the smaller sized nail-slot past the age designations.

Will I need to file my nails afterwards?

No. The nail clipper makes a smooth cut. Your nails will have a soft edge after trimming. Sometimes it can take a couple tries to get the feel of it, but once you do, you won’t go back.

Do these trimmers work for toenails?

It works great on toenails of infants and kids. Adults who can reach their toenail have found the trimmers quite effective if the nail is able to fit into the slot.

What happens to the nails?

Trimmed nails drop into a hidden compartment to be discarded later. No mess! Just slide the bottom tray to dispose.

I like to have short nails, will the clipper still work?

Yes! You have full control of how much nail is trimmed by how much nail is inserted into the nail-slot. For shorter nails, tip your finger allowing more nail into the slot.

Do these clip or grind the nail?
